|Dr. Richard Mosely|
|Appearance:||Book Two: Dawn's Shadow (FA)|
Though at first glane he may seem like a cruel, sadistic and a near megalomaniac, he genuinely believes that humanity's problems can all be solved if there was no more death. For example, poverty wouldn't be a major issue anymore since their wouldn't be any threat of starvation or malnutrition. With the lack of death, there would be very little point in war. He also believes that immortality would equalize the human race and turn them into 'greater beings'.
Born in 1973, he was a child prodigy at science which often resulted in him being bullied by other students at school. His father, Jeryl Mosley, was a low ranking officer of the Order who was eventually discharged for drunken behaviour. On many occasions Mosley suffered physical abuse at his hands, causing him to resent his father. He had never truly known his birth mother who died under mysterious circumstances a year after he was born and his father had married Reyna Parsons, a scientist of the Order who became his step mother. They had a cold and distanced relationship, though evidently influenced his academic aspirations.
